Thank you for visiting my site and learning more about me. I am a certified coach, with a master's degree in Social Work from Tulane University. My career has spanned thirty years in social worker and coaching both in the States and internationally. I have worked extensively in the medical field, mainly in end of life care and trauma, as well as, maintained a private practice in Texas. This practice developed further into coaching and corporate training in adaption and stress management. I have been involved in professional development in the healthcare arena for nearly twenty years and have coached master's level students from Denver University for the past nine years. I received recognition in the advancement of palliative care from Denver Hospice in 2006 and from the Frist Foundation that same year. I have received the Steffie Allen Award in Ethics in 2008. In addition to my professional training, I am a writer, photographer, artist and blogger. I believe in quality self-care and am invested in yoga, meditation and exercise, as tools of wellness and growth.
